Jazz hasn't been downloading all that spectacularly for the last weekish and this morning there were two spots on the floor--one with a bit of poo, the other just droplets of liquipoo. Both are sure signs she might be plugged up again...Sorry about the TMI, but that's what I had this morning. I've been giving her 1/16tsp of miralax with each feed on top of the Cisapride and the Enulose to get her to go--nothing seems to be really doing the trick.

So I called the vet this AM and told him I thought she was plugged up again--he told me to bring her in right away so he could get started on the enema process which takes some time to do. The actual procedure is quick, but the subsequent downloading that ensues takes awhile to get done depending on how plugged up she actually is. Since it's been about a week since I got a decent dump out of her, I would bet she's really plugged up. :/

Sigh. We might have to up the ante and consider other laxative options soon. I know Dr. B mentioned suppositories to me a few times to get her to go...sounds so disgusting, but if it keeps my baby's guts going that's the most important thing. Don't want her megacolon to get worse. :/

In other news, I found some Lars and Jazz poops behind a chair in the living room last night, and a Lars poop on the floor in his safe room. I fear Jazz is teaching Lars bad habits. :( It can't be the condition of the boxes for Lars--I clean all three boxes thoroughly every day. He pees in the box, but now all of a sudden there's poo on the floor. Three times--two old ones in the living room and the one I found this morning in his safe room. Gotta keep an eye on that...The box in the safe room is very old and is in need of a good scrub, but he still pees in it and usually poos in it so I just don't know...Sigh...

Life with cats shouldn't be this stressful, dammit! :/
