...but not really hungry, either. The good news is, though, she hasn't barfed anything since Sunday night when I gave her the Cerenia.
Sigh.
Her appetite started to wane again yesterday afternoon. Given that she'd been barfy, I didn't know whether or not I should give her the appetite stimulant pill. I mean, really--it's sorta cruel to give an appetite stimulant to a nauseated cat, right? :/ So a call to the vet was in order.
Dr. B said to give her a chance to eat on her own, to try to wait at least 24 hours from the time her appetite started to wane before giving her the appetite stimulant. He's now saying that if I give it too often she might become dependent on it for eating properly. :/ Before this point he didn't say anything of the sort, so I'm sorta confused, but alright...
She ate a decent dinner but didn't hardly touch her final feed of the night and barely touched her breakfast this morning initially, so I broke down and gave her the appetite stimulant late this morning. She's still not completely right, but she is definitely eating better than she was. Hopefully this'll be the jumpstart she needs to keep eating well for awhile.
Ah, the adventures of being owned by geriatric cats... :/
