...this time due to odd urine. The last couple of days when we've cleaned up her floor pee we've noticed the urine was darker than normal. Once when I cleaned it up it was almost orange looking! Holy Hannah, that can't be good...
Called up the clinic this morning after yet another dark yellow pee clean-up and Dr. B. said to bring her in this afternoon. Mkay, will do.
Does a stick for a clean urine draw. Shows me the urine--it's normal colour, of course. Came back with slight amount of bile and protein, but otherwise within normal limits. Did yet another blood draw to check kidney and liver function. Virtually the same numbers we got last time we did a draw a couple of weeks ago.
153 bucks later, nothing's really amiss. What Dr. B. suspects is Jazz might have had a bit of a bile dump into her system, which is when we saw the orangey pee. No real explanation why this would've happened, save for her advanced age. No changes to her diet or meds, so that wouldn't account for it, and she's not gotten into anything that we know of that she shouldn't.
