I just found out about this via another long-time LJ friend's journal...

Terry was a very long-time friend of mine via LJ. Hell, I think he was up there among one of the first friends I friended over there. We went through a lot together over the years, we did.

He'd been struggling for the last few years; I won't go into it here save to say he had a lot of personal demons, a lot of loss in his life, too.

He recently totally touched my heart with two kind gestures after Diva died; he posted a link of the obituary for her on his LJ so his friends could come to my page and send their condolences. He also re-posted a pic of her on Google + to a cat community that got a lot of hits as well. He didn't have to do that, but he did. That's just the sort of guy he was--trying to comfort his friends in their time of need...Man, am I ever so glad I let him know how much his gestures meant to me.

I'm at a loss, really. I'm somewhat angry that he took his leave on us all, incredibly sad, and a little bit shocked. I don't know what it was that set off the final chain of events that took him from us, don't know if I ultimately want to know, but...yeah...Appears as though he'd finally had enough and had to go...

Rest well, Terry. You were A Great Guy who will be terribly missed... :(

I do have that information. If you want it, it is free to you for the asking.

Two caveats: It involves some very unwise choices on his part, and you can never un-learn information that touches your heart.

You've got my email address.
