I'm in the process of canceling my land line and my cable TV. The phone thing was a pain-in-the-ass...It took awhile, but nothing that torturous. And the lady who took my call was actually nice! Holy SHIT!
Then I called the cable company. Time Warner. They were nice enough to quote me a timeframe on the wait for a rep--wait for it--30 minutes! Good LORD!!!
In the vast realm of things, 30 minutes isn't that long of a wait. However that godawful background music they play to keep the caller "entertained" is enough to inspire even the most even-keeled person to start planning a tri-state murder spree...
Oh yeah. It's all warm and sticky and cloudy out. At least it's not raining. For now. Pretty soon I'm gonna start making out plans for an Ark...
