Remember last week when I sprained my ankle? It was truly starting to feel better, despite continuing to look like a Barney Rubble foot or, for universality, that foot that stomps on stuff in various Monty Python stuff.

Anyway...

I did give it a bit of a workout this past weekend but I braced it and it seemed fine...no problems yesterday, either.

Flash to today...

OUCH! Quite swollen again. Yay! I've been swallowing ibuprofen like a fiend and kept my foot up in the comfort in my bedroom. Of course this means I slept away most of the day. After all the activity of the past weekend, I needed at least some of it.

Alas, there's another reason for the old foot and ankle to be cranky...we're due for a line of thunderstorms. Yet another body part that is able to predict the weather.

I'm sure there are some of you that can feel my pain...

I do feel your pain. My right ankle is permanently broken (it's in pieces held together with a calcium bond) and my left one I've wrenched, then sprained twice.

The only thing that seems to help me is Lortab, and I can't take them very often because of my opiate allergy. Fun times.

We got a house full of that

David is my barametor! Weather coming I know.

I have a few things that lead that way.

Hang in there!

when the barometer rises, i can feel it in my head, sinuses and knees. i'd say it sucks to get old, but i've had those issues since i was young(er).

I DO feel your pain! I've sprained my right ankle more times throughout my life that it's permanently swollen (it looks terrible next to my left!). I hope you feel better soon!
