With all the speculation going on about what happened to destroy the I-35W bridge, I think "experts" speculating based purely on TV accounts need to wait until the all the facts are in and the experts actually investigating it come to the proper conclusion they reach based on the true data.

In the mean time, those so-called "experts" need to remember the following...

Humans are not perfect...
Keeping this in mind...

1. Human engineers and architechs design bridges.
2. Humans develop and make construction products used to make bridges.
3. Humans build bridges.
4. Humans inspect bridges and report to specific agencies the results of their inspections. This results in repairs done by construction workers.
5. All of these humans have probably been in their line of work doing their job with the utmost of their abilities, at least one would hope.

When tragedy strikes, such a bridge collapse, it's a true catastrophe, primarily for the humans affected--those involved in the accident and those who come to their aid. Other species are affected, but are dealt with later. By humans.

Those are the only true facts of the matter that any so-called expert can say without a doubt. Yet they don't. I don't think the media reach out to them as much as these so-called experts call them. Either way, the media, for the most part, exploit the "knowledge" they think they're getting from these "experts" The lot of them are twits and I wouldn't want any of them to tell me whether the sky was blue or not.

/rant off

Please pray/chant/light a candle for those involved in this tragedy.
