**Hotter than hell today. Most of the house isn't terribly hot except for the bathroom and my bedroom is absolutely divine. That's where the AC unit is.
**Diva is on another round of antibiotics and is now on prescription food. Some days are better than others. Today isn't that great of a day.Yesterday she only had a couple of dribbles outside the box, but today was a different story. Oy Vey. And she was a bitch to pill, but I'll get into why it was even more of a bitch than ususual.
**I took Jazz to the vet today for a well-overdue exam/vaccines. I had time before the appointment to go to McDonalds to get a vat of Coke (the 42 oz one YUM!) before the appointment came. All was well. Jazz went into the carrier with no problems. That means, in my world, something not-so-good was going to happen....
The pavement in front of the office has been uneven and cracked up for years. I wasn't watching my feet as I should've been. I caught the edge of something and blammo! Down I went, twisted my left ankle, scraped and bruised the fuck out of my right knee. Kept a hold on the cat carrier, though and it remained intact. Probably scared the holy fuck out of Jazz, though. Poor thing. Her checkup went fine, though. The only thing the vet said was I should make sure to give Jazz a portion of the non-prescription food to balance the acidic nature of the prescription food. That, hopefully, will be easy enough.

**Still packing. Jason took some chairs and a dresser furniture wise and boxes. Packing are gonna be really interesting with a bum knee and ankle. Yay.
**All this packing and stuff becomes more bittersweet as more stuff disappears down to Jason's house. No matter. Gotta keep on truckin'.
**In talking to my landlady to let her know we'd be out of the apartment by the 15th, she was bewildered. She thought I was going to be out by the end of September. So we're shooting for somewhere in the middle.
Ugh. I hope I don't wake up sore and hurty in the morning, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I will.
