Yeah, yeah, it's not that early. Bite me.;)
I actually did get something done yesterday. I purged the closet in my bedroom, which doesn't sound like much, but...yikes! That's where a good chunk of my chubbo clothes were along with the business clothes I wore at the bank back in the late 90s. Except for two dresses I know I'll wear again and my high school graduation dress that I need to eventually pack away in my hope chest (won't get rid of it; memories, and it's a slim-styled dress in a size 3!) all that crap is gone. All that's left in there clothing-wise are some of my massive collection of teeshirts, a royal blue jacquard semi-formal dress, and (eep) my wedding gown, which I'm still really not sure what I'm gonna do with. I'm definitely NOT going to throw it away--it cost too damned much, but beyond that I don't know. I never did get it cleaned, so when I get a few extra coins rubbing together in my pockets I should take it to get cleaned and boxed. What else is in there...Most of my books from school. The photo albums from the wedding. A gnarly old laundry basket that has some clothes in it that I really should get rid of, but it's a cat bed now, so there it'll stay...;)
Ah, the curse of being a packrat...er, I mean, a COLLECTOR! Yeah, a COLLECTOR!! It's not that I don't want to get rid of stuff or that I think I don't need to, I just don't seem to get around to it as often as I should. Which then results in having to do it in a mad rush when I need to fit more crap in here. I know I need a bigger place, but the rent here is incredible ($555/month, heat, water, garbage service included, 1/2 the garage) and Janet (the landlady, who is INCREDIBLE) lets me have three cats. Janet lives downstairs with her 15 year old son, so if something goes amiss she knows about it and fixes it ASAP. Good flats are hard to find...
Randomness...I'm listening to Air America Radio, and it's the Jerry Springer slot. The dude who's covering for him SUCKS! I don't know if Jerry sucks, though, since I can't get the Chicago Air America station in at work and we're not supposed to stream audio or video through the company computers. Alas, it's something to listen too that's vaguely interesting.

Speaking of AAR, I'm pissed off that Morning Sedition (with my beloved Marc Maron) is going away!
