That's about how I feel. ??? :/
All the fluids she got on Monday? Well she finally mostly absorbed them by this morning. Called Dr. B with a status update and he told me to give her 125ml of fluids today around 1200-1300 and none tonight. Tomorrow the regimen is 75ml in the AM and 75ml in the evening--back, again, to a total of 150ml of fluids, which was where she was before this Monday's blood work...I thought we were supposed to start giving her more to get her kidneys going again, but I guess with the fluid retention he's going conservative...
He also changed the cyproheptadine up--I'm now to give her 1/4 tablet (half dose) in the AM and again late afternoon because today her appetite started to fade come dinner time for the next week or until something else changes...
That's how I feel--everything is in daily flux and I'm a wreck! So much stress with my sweet old lady...
We'll get this figured out. Sooner rather than later, at least I hope! :/
