It's been a week since my last entry? Oops.:/ What can I say-I've been busy doin' that book learnin'...or something...

I've reached my minimum hours for my internship. I think my last day will be tomorrow, unless I have to go back for my advisor's office visit. We were supposed to do that a couple of weeks ago when we had that big-ass snow storm, but cancelled. There's a pretty good chance that it will be waived, I guess, because Dr. Ross is quite familiar with P & P and with me (of course). I've actually learned alot there since I managed to stay with one agent most of the time. Karen (the agent I worked with) is really cool. She's not a nail 'em and jail 'em sorta agent--she really works with her offenders and gets them into programs and tries to help them and stuff. She has an interesting caseload--she gets juveniles sentenced as adults in the office. I sent my application for probation and parole agent last month and it's my understanding that the hiring freeze for agents is supposed to be lifted in the beginning of May--just in time for me, hopefully.

Other than that, I've been sneezy and wheezy from allergies with the weather changing every fifteen minutes. I got an A- in my soc. research methods class. I still have to fulfill my library literacy skills requirement (will do that tomorrow, hopefully...). I still have to get fitted for my cap and gown. I've got Final Semester Senior Gut Rot (tm). And I eat way too much comfort food in an effort to feel better (holy expanding waistline! well, not really that bad..) Gee, what an exciting life, eh--school, internship, sneezing and wheezing, and sleep. At least it's almost over....

Re: Hi.

Ugh, am I ever a busy bee lately! Luckily, so far I'm managing to stay on track with what has to be done when, which is no mean feat for someone that is a major procrastinator! I'm waiting to hear back from the state regarding my application for probation and parole agent, and I hope like hell that I get hired, but part of me hopes the process takes a little bit of time so I can take a break after graduating from running around like a crazy woman!
