Someone new in our household?

J posted two great pics on his page, so I decided to post a different pic over here on my journal...



Meet Ulysses! He's a 5ish year old boy from Humane Haven Animal Shelter (where we volunteer on Sundays) who J's decided to give a week or two's "test run" to see if he'll fit in to our crazy household! He's currently holed up in our "Safe Room", dying to get out to explore the rest of the house. :) We're going to give him a day or two in there before we try to introduce him to the rest of the kids--a relatively short turn-around time for introductions but he's really dying to get out of there already and we think the other three resident kids and he can handle it alright, so we're going to give a very abbreviated safe room stay a chance and see what happens.

There's a lot to know about Ulysses, but I'll give J a chance to get around to properly introducing him to everybody. His username on both dreamwidth and LJ is feren and his kitty entries should be public. Once he's posted more, I'll post more over here, too.

Fingers crossed that everything works out for us!! :)
