So I re-did this meme, tweaking a few answers--changing the music choice to classic rock from alternative, opting for the cherry red mustang vs. the new model bug and I got...

You Belong in 1969

1969

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

The actual year of my birth. How the hell do they actually develop these quizes anyway?
Hold me, someone!! I'm skerred!
but then the MEMES SUCKED AWAY MY SOUL!!!!!!

You Are 31 Years Old

31

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Four years off. Not too shabby.;) Must be actually acting close to my age for a change, lol.

***It's a gray, gloomy day here in Southeastern Wisconsin. It was hard to get out of bed this morning. Ugh. Upon finally dragging my happy ass out of the sack, ground up some Icing on the Cake coffee and made up a small pot. God, is that stuff great! Cinnamon with a touch of vanilla. Mmmmm. I vacuumed (I'm sure the cats were REALLY happy about that one) and did some more straightening. Next up: gathering and organizing work clothes and deciding what I'm going to wear tomorrow.

***I'm starting to get really excited and nervous about going back to work. I have to fill out my tax paperwork tonight--as a Kersting!! I wonder how much commotion my name change will cause, lol. Since it's a big company, and an HR/benfits outsourcing company, I'm thinking it shouldn't be that huge of a deal.

***Ya know, I really miss mom. :/ I last saw her last Sunday night after I got back from Denver. I've talked to her almost every day, but it's not the same, ya know? If you would've told me even ten years ago that I'd miss my mom like this, I would have told you you were fucking nuts. It seems like we get closer as time passes--must be an aging thing. Who knows?

***My lungs are still nice and crunchy, and I've had a nice little sinus headache on the left side of my forehead/eye the last couple of days. Yummy! It's gotta be the nice, warm and damp weather we've been having--I'm sure the mold counts are sky high around here right now. This, too, shall pass.

***I don't have alot of laundry, but I should pack it all up and get it done. Bonus--I'd get in some bonding time with mom's cat Diva, who's all alone right now. One of mom's neighbors makes sure Diva's got food, water, and a clean box every day, but doesn't spend alot of time with her. So that's where I come in. Diva's a trip. She's quite large for a female cat--about 20 pounds, built like a boy. She's got a long tail that has a habit of curling into a question mark or the infamous sideways question mark.;) And, the topper, especially for such a big cat--she's got the tiniest squeek of a meow! When she was younger she was quite aloof, but she's become quite a love in the last year or so--and she loves her Auntie (sister?) Pam.

Well, that oughta do it for now from here. As you were.
