Although I won't officially receive my diploma until sometime after...July something or another...I graduated today! I'm the proud recipient of a green leather diploma case that will eventually contain one piece of paper that will say that I, Pamela Karen Kersting-Zielsdorf, have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Wo00000t!!!!!!

I intended to funkify my cap with some sprayon green glitter, but time got away from me and I was afraid that it wouldn't have time to dry, so I didn't do it. However, I distributed a box of those little bottles of bubbles that ya usually get at weddings and it was a bubblefest on the floor whilst grads walked across the stage. A beach ball appeared and was batted about for about a minute before confiscated by a faculty marshall. It was swiftly replaced with a different one and the crowd actually cheered! It was funnier than hell. Didn't take long for that one to get snatched by one of the faculty marshalls, either...;9

My name was actually pronounced correctly.;)~ It's much more fun to be in the ceremony than watch it from the stands, lemmetellya! I wanted to go to the reception after the ceremony so that my family could meet some of my favorite professors, but decided not to. Dad's been having quite a bit of trouble walking lately, and the distance even from the handicap parking spots to the building would've been a hoof for him, not to mention the fact that it was quite a walk to the reception once inside the building. I'm just grateful and very relieved that he's still here and was able to see me graduate! Anyway, we left and pigged out on Italian food instead! YUM!

Piccies may be forthcoming...if they aren't too scary....;)))
