Well, about fifteen minutes ago I finished the information literacy requirement! Huzzah!

My last class as an undergraduate student was Thursday night. As I walked out to my car after class, I actually got a lump in my throat and tears started to well up in my eyes. I'm so glad to be almost done, but it's such a huge transitional period in my life that it's a bit overwhelming at times...I'm gonna keep up with what sorts of classes are offered at night and on the weekends and take a class here and there. I also intend to eventually pursue an MSW, but not for a few years, because I really need a break from hard-core upper education.

Lessee, what's left...An exam in women's history on Monday night. My final project for life history interviewing is due on Tuesday afternoon. My final paper, commentary packet and student evaluation for soc. theory is due on Thursday night. And my paper and journal for my internship is due by noon on Friday.

Thursday afternoon I went back to the probation and parole office I interned at and had my mentor agent fill out my evaluation form. I did very well, particularly with clients with mental health issues! Well, whadya know!? That's EXACTLY what I would like to specialize in! She filled me in on how some of my "favorite" clients are doing--one of them misses me!! He's bi-polar teen charged as an adult who doesn't want to take his meds. He thought I was really cool, evidently. Of course, because I was pretty much in an observer role, I was always the "good cop" and my agent mentor was always the "bad cop", so that pretty much explains why he always liked me better than her.;)

Still haven't heard anything from the state about my app. Hopefully I'll hear something next week.

Well, I think it's time to hit the sackaroonie and catch some Zs before getting back to the grind...
