**Decided to drop Lit of the Holocaust after the first class. It's way WAY too much work for a 200 level class that I took for "fun" to get my credit load to full time for financial aid purposes. I replaced it with Intro to Women's History. I already took Women in Modern Society with the same prof. and enjoyed it--two of the books are the same for this class. Should be a cake walk and interesting to boot.
**Had my appointment to meet my supervisor at community corrections for my internship. Everyone there seems nice and seemed a bit excited to have an intern around. One of the agents is leaving on maternity leave in July and the supervisor mentioned that if I were interested in working for the dept. of corrections after I graduate I could request working her spot. I told her how I intended to apply for an agent position when I graduate. This pleased everyone who heard it very much. This is cool. Oh yeah, I'll be working there (for the most part) 1-5 Mondays and Wednesdays and 1-4:30 on Fridays.
**Went to the advising center to check to see why the women's studies minor didn't drop off my DARS report yet and to have some one help me figure out my cumulative GPA with the eventual F I'll be getting in social gerontology. It will go from 3.335 to approximately 3.27. Not much of a drop, so I'm very relieved.
**Other classes should be alright, but alot of reading again. Not totally unexpected for a senior soc. major.
