damn, it's COLD in this house!

This is one of the times that I wish we had a thermostat up here! It's probably a good thing that we don't, and that heat is part of the rent.

We went out to dinner with Chris and Heather tonight. I'm still full of Italian goodness. DH is snoring on the futon. Maddie's still sneezing, but it didn't stop her from going out on the porch tonight when the door blew open--little turkey! Good thing it's an enclosed porch with another door at the bottom of the stair. And it's a good thing we have a bunch of boxes out there that need to be broken down--it was very easy to catch her and bring her back inside.

Added a bunch of interests and several people to the friends list. The one thing we all have in common here at my LJ is that we're all childfree--or at least say we are.:)

Holy shit! It's THAT LATE?!!!????!!:0 Fuckit, I'm goin' to bed to get warm and get some sleep!

It's cold in this house too,partly because fire restoration makes an already drafty Civil War era house draftier and partly because the pilot keeps going out on the furnace. At least the gas shuts off when that happens so we don't get carbon monoxided or else end up taking out the whole block in an explosion. The other night I dreamed I had to go out and get more firewood for the wood stove, which was odd. I must've been thinking about my sister's wood stove or else was dreaming I was around when this house was new.
