You know what I do. I keep a word doc on my desktop simply called LJ.doc. When I want to compose a journal entry, I open that up, compose it there, then save. Then I cut and paste into LJ. The dual advantage here is a) LJ never makes an entry vansih b) you have cumulative record of everything you wrote on LJ so if it ever goes belly up for good, you won't lose all that writin'
